Stuffed eggs - Cookie Diet


4 eggs, canned cod liver – 100 g., 1 large onion, 1 lemon, grated cheese – 1 table-spoon, tomato sauce – 1 table-spoon, oil - 1 table-spoon, Madeira - 1 tea-spoon, dill & parsley green – 1/2 tuft each, salt&pepper to your taste.


Boil eggs hard, get them cold, sell and cut lengthwise in two, take out yolks carefully.

Skin onion, cut it very small, add oil and fry on a faint fire till it has goldish colour.

Mash liver up with a fork, mix with yolks, fried onion, chopped dill, salt, pepper, pour Madeira in and stir thoroughly.

Fill half-white of eggs with this stuffing, put them to a baking tray, smear each with tomato sauce, powder with some grated cheese and bake them in an oven.

Place cooked eggs on a plate and trim with parsley sprigs and lemon slices.
